On April 18th, the 9th China Internet Brand Awards Ceremony, the 3rd New Media Fusion Innovation Development Summit Forum and Wudang Tao Tea Brand Promotion Conference were held in Shiyan. Nearly 200 people from 24 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions), 92 news media, responsible persons of party and government websites, authoritative experts and scholars attended the meeting. Xie Guoming, the former deputy editor-in-chief of People's Daily and a member of the National People's Congress Social Construction Committee, a member of the media expert group of the Central Propaganda Department, and Song Jianwu, a professor at Renmin University of China, attended and gave speeches. During the conference, the Ninth China Internet Brand Awards was announced and an award ceremony was held to present 10 awards, including the Best Brand Award for Chinese Media Fusion and Innovation, and the National Government (Government) Website Top 50 Excellent Brands. The Shiyan government website was named the top 50 national government (government) website outstanding brands in 2018-2019.
The conference also organized a seminar on the theme of "Technological Innovation and Operational Pain Points in Media Convergence", the establishment of the "National Party and Government New Media Copyright Sharing Alliance", and the joint release of the "Shiyan Declaration"; the Wudang Tao Tea was held simultaneously Brand promotion.
